The Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) has tapped Sridevi (Sri) Ramaswamy as its new chief operations officer.

“Sri’s rich and diverse experience makes her the right choice at the right time to lead our teams into a new era,” explained David Edinger, Colorado state CIO and executive director of OIT. “I am thrilled she has chosen to bring her talents to the public sector.”

In her new role, Ramaswamy will be tasked with leading the development and execution of enterprise strategy and delivering maximum value to OIT’s agency customers in partnership with all OIT offices.

“I am excited to be part of the team that helps tech-enabled government services reach every Coloradan and look forward to collaborating with state agencies to ensure we deliver maximum value to them,” said Ramaswamy.

Ramaswamy joins state government after a lengthy career in the private sector in the U.S., Singapore, and India. Most recently, she held multiple roles with Uber.
