Colgate University is introducing a new centralized digital portal aimed at simplifying access to campus systems and information for students, faculty, and staff.

The Colgate Portal, developed using Pathify’s Engagement Hub platform, replaces the university’s previous desktop portal and standalone mobile app. The updated platform offers a responsive, unified experience across devices and user roles, consolidating access to key digital tools such as Ellucian Banner, Moodle, and Localist.

University officials say the transition is part of a broader initiative to modernize Colgate’s digital infrastructure and foster stronger connections within the campus community.

“The new Colgate Portal streamlines access, improves visibility, and helps students, faculty and staff interact with the tools needed to succeed,” Niranjan Davray, Colgate’s chief information officer, said in a press release. “This platform represents a critical leap in building a more collaborative, engaged campus community.”

Colgate’s Information Technology Services and University Communications teams led the evaluation process before selecting Pathify, citing the platform’s modern architecture and capacity for long-term adaptability. Campus stakeholders who participated in early testing reported positive feedback, particularly regarding the interface’s ease of use and organization.

The university also plans to broaden portal governance, allowing departments and administrative units to manage and customize their own content areas. Future updates will incorporate real-time analytics to help monitor engagement and improve user experience.

“We’re excited to partner with Colgate University to bring this next-generation digital experience to life,” said Chase Williams, CEO and co-founder of Pathify. “The Colgate Portal is a valuable tool and app – a true engagement hub helping modernize Colgate’s infrastructure while empowering their users.”
