Virginia Union University Enterprises (VUUE) launched a joint venture with technology consulting firm MTX Group to design and deliver artificial intelligence (AI)-driven education technology aimed at improving student outcomes and career readiness, the university announced.
The collaboration brings together MTX’s technology expertise and VUUE’s commitment to workforce development and public-sector engagement to deliver AI solutions that enhance learning outcomes, operational efficiency, and career readiness, according to a university announcement
Officials said the work aims to position VUU as a leader in “outcomes-driven” higher education, while offering scalable tools that could extend to government and industry partners.
“This partnership with MTX Group allows us to intentionally integrate artificial intelligence and real-world application into the student experience in ways that are innovative, practical, and transformative. Together, we are ensuring that our students graduate not just with degrees, but with the technological fluency, critical thinking, and workforce readiness required to thrive in a rapidly changing economy,” President and CEO of Virginia Union University Hakim J. Lucas said in statement.
The joint venture “reflects a powerful alignment of vision,” said Das Nobel, founder and CEO of MTX Group,
“As AI and technology continue to reshape the world, we have a responsibility to ensure students are not just observers of change but active participants in it,” Nobel said.
The announcement did not specify investment amounts, products, or an implementation timeline.
