The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office on July 8 announced an updated artificial intelligence (AI)-powered virtual assistant to help voters find accurate official election information throughout the 2026 election cycle.

The updated BallotBot is available through the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office website and Arizona.Vote. It provides voters with 24/7 access to answers about election-related questions, including voter registration, early voting, ballot tracking, voting locations and hours, registration deadlines, identification requirements, and general election procedures.

According to officials, the updated tool includes expanded knowledge, improved response accuracy, and an enhanced user experience. The assistant is also now available in both English and Spanish to increase accessibility for Arizona voters.

“As elections approach, voters often have questions outside normal business hours,” said Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. “BallotBot helps connect Arizonans with official election information whenever they need it, making it easier to find answers from trusted sources.”

BallotBot is designed to supplement – not replace – support provided by county election officials and the Secretary of State’s Office. The tool also directs users to additional official resources or their county election office or information specific to their jurisdiction, when appropriate.

Arizona’s 2026 election calendar includes a primary election on July 21 and the general election on Nov. 3.
