The University of Arizona has made some major IT investments over the past year, and those are only going to grow under its new IT strategy set to launch early next year, the university interim chief information officer said, pointing to improved IT service delivery wins.

Following the retirement of its CIO Barry Brummund, the University of Arizona has tapped Elliott Cheu as the university’s interim chief information officer.

University of Arizona Chief Information Officer (CIO) Barry Brummund announced that he will retire effective Jan. 17, 2025.
