The University of Tulsa’s Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute (OCII) has launched the state’s first cyber range. The cyber range aims to rapidly expand services to protect and defend Oklahoma-based organizations from cyber threats.

University of Southern California’s (USC) Rossier School of Education announced the seventh cohort if its Education Technology Accelerator, which helps edtech entrepreneurs improve their solutions, accelerate growth, and increase impact.

While the United States is home to more than half of the top universities in the world, there is more work to be done when it comes to artificial intelligence education – and that’s something NVIDIA is trying to improve. According to U.S. News & World Report, only 10% of the top global AI universities are in the United States.

The University of Arkansas System is partnering with Workday to deploy the Workday Student solution at seven of the system’s campuses. The current deployment marks the first phase of implementation of Workday Student, with other institutions set to be added to the platform by Spring 2025.

Howard Community College (HCC) in Columbia, Md., has broken ground on its new Workforce Development and Trades Center which will incorporate cybersecurity modules into skilled trades occupational training across a range of disciplines. 

University of Oklahoma has hired Nishanth Rodrigues as the college’s new chief information officer (CIO), effective Sept. 30.

Chris Mattmann has been named University of California, Los Angeles’ (UCLA) first chief data and artificial intelligence officer. Mattmann is not only the first chief data and artificial intelligence officer at UCLA, but the first at any University of California campus.
