The University of Minnesota appears to be setting its sights well beyond the traditional campus footprint with the launch of its new AI Hub on March 5.

The University of Minnesota has named Tarek Tomes vice president for information technology and chief information officer (CIO), effective March 16.

The University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) will use a $1,155,000 grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) to develop and offer an Indigenous Education for All online course free to the public.
