The University of Kansas and the University of Central Florida have secured a $3.5 million federal grant to expand a national center helping educators navigate rapidly evolving technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI).

A new initiative – Upskill Together – is aiming to help universities and employers expand access to “high-demand, industry-recognized technology credentials” both for corporate and educational partners, and with scholarships for groups that are underrepresented in the tech sector.

The University of Central Florida (UCF) announced it has hired Matthew Hall as vice president of IT and CIO.
