For the first time in years, the United States is no longer making progress in bolstering its cyber defenses and is instead “stalling” and “slipping” in its ability to protect itself and allies, the successor organization to the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission (CSC) revealed in a report published Wednesday.

National Cyber Director Harry Coker announced a new toolkit to help build and strengthen cybersecurity ecosystems during an event at Hinds Community College in Mississippi.

Howard Community College (HCC) in Columbia, Md., has broken ground on its new Workforce Development and Trades Center which will incorporate cybersecurity modules into skilled trades occupational training across a range of disciplines.
